The Challenge

Applying to college as an undocumented student is a confusing and overwhelming process. Each state has different policies regarding residency requirements and tuition rates, and private universities often do not publish information on their admissions and financial aid policies for undocumented applicants. Moreover, paying for college is out of reach for most undocumented families, as undocumented students do not qualify for any form of federal financial aid, including work-study programs, pell grants, or student loans. 

The Solution

Freedom University has eight years of experience in working with partner universities and assisting students in all steps in the college application process: from SAT test prep, to Common Application completion, to college tour and interview preparation, to faculty recommendations, to scholarship application assistance. Students are held to high standards and are expected to take initiative and responsibility throughout the college application process. As a result of our collaborative work, 50% of our students at Freedom University have won full scholarships to college since 2018.
